Day 1

You will be picked up by our professional guide at your hotel or anywhere of your preference around Arusha, and thereafter begin your safari to the Central Serengeti, the ecological heart of the Serengeti ecosystem. This region is famed for its vast, open plains and abundant wildlife, serving as the stage for the dramatic annual migration and home to a wide variety of species.

Upon arrival, after settling briefly, embark on an afternoon game drive that introduces you to the richness of this remarkable landscape. The Central Serengeti is renowned for its high density of predators and prey, offering excellent opportunities to spot iconic African wildlife. During your drive, expect to see large prides of lions resting under acacia trees or stalking prey, and perhaps catch a glimpse of elusive leopards perched silently in the branches.

As the sun sets, enjoy a scenic drive back to camp, where you will have the chance to relax and reflect on your first day’s wildlife encounters.

Day 2

Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti

Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti

After an early breakfast, depart for the Northern Serengeti and spend the day on game drives, exploring diverse habitats from acacia woodlands to rocky outcrops. The Northern Serengeti is home to large prides of lions, often seen lounging on the rocks or hunting in the grasslands. It is also a hotspot for leopards, who favor the dense thickets and rocky areas, providing excellent opportunities for elusive sightings. You may spot cheetahs sprinting across open spaces in pursuit of prey like Thomson’s gazelles and impalas.

The area hosts herds of elephants and buffalo, often found near water sources, alongside graceful giraffes browsing on tall acacias. The Northern Serengeti’s birdlife is diverse, with species such as lappet-faced vultures, grey crowned cranes, and bee-eaters adding vibrant colors to the landscape.

Return to camp in the evening for a delicious dinner and a restful night surrounded by wilderness sounds.

Day 3

Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti

Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti

Following breakfast, begin your return journey towards the Central Serengeti, with plenty of opportunities for wildlife viewing en route. The morning game drive will focus on spotting animals that thrive near rivers and wooded areas, including elusive cheetahs often seen stalking in the tall grasses and rare antelope species such as eland and topi.

As you traverse the landscape, watch for elephants moving in family groups, and observe large herds of zebra and wildebeest mingling on the plains, a quintessential Serengeti spectacle. You may also encounter jackals scavenging near waterholes and playful troops of baboons.

After lunch, continue with a game drive to further explore the Central Serengeti, capture the golden light of the late afternoon illuminating the landscape and its wildlife.

Return to camp in the evening for dinner under the stars, sharing stories of the day’s adventures.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Depart early after breakfast for the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. Descend into the vast caldera for a full-day game drive in a unique ecosystem that supports a remarkable diversity of species within its walls.

The crater is famed for its population of black rhinos, which are difficult to spot elsewhere in Tanzania. You will also encounter large herds of African elephant, Cape buffalo, and wildebeest, as well as zebras grazing alongside them. Predators, including lions and spotted hyenas, roam the crater floor and are often visible during your game drive. Hippos wallow in the crater’s freshwater lakes, and you'll see flocks of flamingos.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater while surrounded by spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife.

After the game drive, ascend from the crater back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or anywhere in Arusha according to your travel plans.
