Day 2

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you will set off from Nairobi toward the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve, a scenic road journey of approximately four to five hours. Leaving the bustling city behind, the drive unfolds through beautiful countryside landscapes, dotted with rural villages, rolling hills, and farmlands that offer an authentic glimpse into everyday Kenyan life.

One of the highlights along the way is a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can take in sweeping panoramic views of this remarkable geological wonder, formed millions of years ago.

You will arrive in the reserve in the afternoon and be transferred to your lodge or camp for lunch. Later, head out on an exciting late-afternoon game drive, exploring the vast savannah in search of wildlife as the sun begins to set. Upon reaching the Isebania border, you will complete the required immigration and customs formalities before crossing into Tanzania.

On the Tanzanian side, your professional safari guide will be waiting to warmly welcome you and escort you onward to another iconic wilderness area, the legendary Serengeti National Park. After an early breakfast, you will set out for an immersive game drive in the northern Serengeti. This region offers the possibility of witnessing dramatic Mara River crossings during the Great Migration, or observing vast herds as they sweep across the open plains. The area is exceptionally rich in wildlife, and you may also be fortunate enough to spot elusive predators such as leopards, as well as rarer sightings of African wild dogs.

Later in the morning or early afternoon, you will journey south toward the central Serengeti, continuing your exploration of this iconic national park. Known for its year-round abundance of wildlife, the central Serengeti provides excellent game-viewing opportunities.

As evening approaches, you will return to your lodge to unwind and enjoy a delicious dinner, taking time to reflect on the day’s remarkable wildlife encounters and the magic of the Serengeti.

Today, you will head out early for your morning game drive for a chance to witness a magnificent African sunrise in the bush. You'll head out after a cup of coffee and experience the wilderness and its magnificent creatures as they wake up among the dew-covered grasses.

Later, you will head back to camp for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you will head out once more for another chance to explore the plains in search of the African wildlife you have come to see as you exit the park and make your way to your accommodation in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Formed from a massive collapsed volcano, the Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most wildlife-rich areas on the planet. Its vast floor supports an incredible concentration of animals, including the iconic Big Five, elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and the rare black rhino, along with hyenas, cheetahs, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras.

Midday, you’ll pause for a picnic lunch on the crater floor, enjoying your meal amid spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife. Later in the afternoon, you will continue on to Arusha, where you’ll check in to your accommodation for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.
