Early morning you will be picked up by your safari guide in your hotel or anywhere in Arusha of your preference followed by a drive to Tarangire National Park, a landscape defined by sweeping savannahs, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River. Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, well known for its large elephant herds and excellent year-round wildlife viewing. You may encounter lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and a remarkable variety of bird species that thrive around the riverbanks.
As the day unfolds, explore different areas of the park, from open grasslands to shaded riverine forests. The Tarangire River attracts animals throughout the day, creating constant wildlife activity and excellent photographic opportunities. In the late afternoon, exit the park and proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Lake Eyasi to Arusha

After breakfast, travel to Lake Eyasi, a remote and culturally rich region near the Rift Valley. This area is home to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, some of Tanzania’s last traditional hunter-gatherer and pastoral communities. The journey offers a shift from classic wildlife safari to authentic cultural exploration.
Spend time learning about the Hadzabe way of life, including traditional hunting techniques, survival skills, and daily customs. Visit local communities, interact with villagers, and gain insight into a culture that has remained largely unchanged for centuries. Later in the day, return to Arusha or continue onward, concluding a safari that perfectly blends wildlife, migration, and cultural discovery. Later afternoon you will be dropped off around Arusha airport or hotel depends with your travel plans.
