Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax after your journey and prepare for the safari adventure ahead.

Day 2

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal wildlife concentrations along the Tarangire River. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park.
In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, continue your 7 Days Calving Season Safari toward the Ndutu region, located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem. This is where the magic of the calving season begins. As you travel through the Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro highlands.
Arriving in Ndutu, you’ll begin your first game drive across the short-grass plains. During calving season, this area becomes a wildlife hotspot, with thousands of wildebeest and zebras gathering to give birth.
Predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are often nearby, making for thrilling and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Today is the highlight of your Tanzania safari tour—a full day dedicated to exploring the Ndutu plains during peak calving season. This is one of the most dramatic wildlife events in the world. During peak months, up to 8,000 wildebeest calves can be born in a single day. You’ll witness newborn animals taking their first steps within minutes of birth, guided instinctively by their mothers. At the same time, predators are highly active. Cheetahs sprint across the plains, lions patrol the herds, and hyenas wait for opportunities—creating raw, real moments of nature that are unforgettable.
Your guide will position you for the best sightings and photographic opportunities, exploring different habitats including soda lakes, acacia woodlands, and open savannah.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Northern Serengeti before driving south toward Central Serengeti (Seronera area). This region is renowned for year-round wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and large herbivore herds.
Afternoon game drive en route to your camp.

Early departure toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a 5–6 hour game drive. The crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including the rare black rhino.
After a picnic lunch at the crater floor, ascend and drive to Karatu for overnight.
