Day 1

Welcome Tanzania - Arusha City

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will proceed through immigration and security, where officials will verify your travel documents. After exiting the arrivals terminal, you will be warmly welcomed by our company representative holding a sign with your name. Your luggage will be assisted and you will be transferred in one of our comfortable vehicles to Arusha City.

Upon arrival at your hotel, our driver-guide will assist you with the check-in process, after which the hotel porter will escort your luggage to your room. You will have time to freshen up and relax after your journey. Later in the evening, you will enjoy dinner at the hotel restaurant. After dinner, you may relax at the hotel facilities, take photos, or retire to your room for a restful night.

After breakfast, depart Arusha in the morning and travel to Tarangire National Park, arriving before midday. Upon entry, enjoy rewarding game drives in both the late morning and afternoon, with a freshly prepared lunch served inside the park. In the early evening, after completing your safari experience, you will exit the park and proceed to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will set off toward the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. While the journey is lengthy, it is incredibly scenic and offers breathtaking views along the way—an unforgettable experience, especially for first-time visitors.
As you enter deeper into the Serengeti, you will quickly understand why its name translates to “endless plains.” Covering approximately 18,000 square kilometers, the vast open landscapes stretch endlessly toward the horizon, challenging your sense of scale and distance.
The Serengeti is home to the iconic Great Migration, with over two million wildebeest, vast herds of zebras, and a wide variety of antelope species. It is also one of the best places in Africa to spot large predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Many famous wildlife documentaries and river-crossing scenes have been filmed here. You will enjoy an extensive game drive until lunchtime, with a picnic stop selected by your professional safari guide.

Today, you will journey further into the heart of Ndutu to witness the spectacular wildebeest migration. From December to March, the calving season is in full swing, with wildebeests and zebras giving birth to their young—an extraordinary opportunity to witness this incredible natural event up close. This period also offers thrilling predator encounters, as lions and leopards hunt the vulnerable calves. You will enjoy lunch at one of the designated picnic spots.

Following the game drive, you will depart the park and head to Ngorongoro, where you can unwind, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night.

You'll enjoy a full day in the crater before heading to Karatu.

Embark on a Kilimanjaro day hike to Mandara Hut, situated at 2,720 meters above sea level. The ascent takes approximately 4–5 hours, with a 3–4 hour descent. Along the trail, you’ll encounter diverse wildlife, including black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and numerous bird species. Our expert guides provide fascinating insights into Mount Kilimanjaro’s ecology, pointing out unique plants and animals. At Mandara Hut, enjoy a relaxing lunch before a short 15-minute trek to Maundi Crater, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro, Northern Tanzania, and Kenya. After this 3–5 hour adventure, descend back to Marangu Gate, where your vehicle will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. Includes breakfast and lunch; non-alcoholic drinks provided.
