Day 2

After breakfast, depart Kigali for Volcanoes National Park, located in Rwanda’s scenic northern highlands. After a briefing at park headquarters, trek into the bamboo forests in search of the lively golden monkeys. Watch these rare primates leap through the trees and forage in their natural habitat, offering excellent photography opportunities. After the trek, return to your lodge with stunning views of the Virunga Volcanoes.

Today you journey from Rwanda into Uganda, crossing the Cyanika border en route to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Rushaga sector.
