Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly for photos. Continue to the Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at your budget camp.

In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive. The Masai Mara is home to the Big Five, big cats, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and vast herds of plains game.

After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and travel south toward Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. Along the journey, enjoy scenic views of the Rift Valley plains and local villages.

Arrive at your budget lodge or camp in the afternoon, then embark on your first game drive in Amboseli. The park is world-famous for its large herds of elephants, which often roam with the dramatic backdrop of the snow-capped Kilimanjaro. Keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and a wide variety of bird species.
