Day 1

Following your morning meal at the hotel, you will depart for an enriching full-day excursion to Materuni Village, located on the lush slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro Traveling in comfort aboard a well-maintained minivan, you will journey through beautiful countryside landscapes, passing small farms, banana plantations, and traditional villages that offer a glimpse into everyday local life.
Upon arrival in Materuni, you will be warmly welcomed by members of the Chagga community, one of Tanzania’s most well-known and culturally rich tribes. Your experience begins with a guided cultural tour of the village, where you will learn about traditional Chagga customs, history, and daily activities. You will visit local homesteads and cultural centers, gaining insight into indigenous architecture, family life, and long-standing traditions that have been preserved for generations.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your lodge and driven to Tarangire for about two hours on good tarmac roads.

The park is named after the Tarangire River, which runs through it. This "river of warthogs" is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the Dry season. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests.

These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire than anywhere else on the planet! The huge and ancient baobab trees can be seen here. Some of them are said to have lived for more than a thousand years.

Lunch will be at a picnic site inside the park. After your game drive, you will transit to your accommodation.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will drive to the Serengeti. Upon arrival at the Naabi gate of Serengeti, you will start with a game drive in the afternoon and enjoy a hot bush lunch. Experience a surreal sunset in the pearl of Serengeti National Park during the game drive. You will then head to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

The park is a spectacular place to visit any time of the year with breathtaking scenery and prolific game - from the Big Five to a wide range of antelopes, reptiles, birds, and insects.

Serengeti is an absolute must-see! With over 70 mammals, including huge populations of lions and other predators and over 500 bird species, this is a wildlife-viewing paradise. The incredible great migration moves through the area seasonally, and the spectacular river crossings mostly occur at specific times. The entire process remains unpredictable, depending on when and where the rains fall.

Day 4

After breakfast, depart for an exciting morning game drive in the Ndutu area of the Serengeti, continuing through the early afternoon. Ndutu is famous for hosting the Great Wildebeest Migration during the calving season, when vast herds gather on the open plains to give birth. You will witness thousands of newborn calves taking their first steps, while predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are drawn to the abundance of prey, creating thrilling wildlife encounters.

As the day unfolds, enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness, surrounded by breathtaking savannah landscapes. After lunch, continue your journey with a leisurely game drive as you transfer toward Karatu, offering further opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. In the evening, arrive in Karatu where you will enjoy a relaxing dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, reflecting on an unforgettable day of safari adventure.

Day 5

Northen Serengeti National Park

Today, you will explore the wider and more remote regions of the Serengeti as you journey northwest, following the natural movements of wildlife across the vast plains. After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive carrying a picnic lunch, allowing you to spend extended time deep in the wilderness.

The focus of today’s safari is the legendary Mara River, a vital lifeline for migrating animals. With some luck, you may witness dramatic river crossings as large herds of wildebeest and zebras brave crocodile-filled waters in one of nature’s most spectacular events. Along the way, you will encounter a rich variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, big cats, and numerous bird species.

Game viewing continues into the late afternoon before you return to Heritage Mara Camp in the evening. Enjoy a well-prepared dinner and a relaxing overnight stay, with the unique opportunity to spot wildlife roaming near the camp under the African night sky.

Day 6

After breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Once you finish the game drive, you are transported to your next accommodation in Karatu.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the area that constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the natural wonders of Africa. About 30,000 large mammals are resident all year round (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos), and a wide variety of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards). Be prepared to see many animals here within a short time.

After breakfast, depart to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives while carrying lunch boxes. Once we finish the game drive, we will transfer you to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport where the safari ends.

The park is famous for the arboreal lions, which hide among the branches of the trees, and numerous colonies of baboons that populate the forest and will accompany you along the road from the moment you enter the park.
