Your adventure begins with an early departure from Entebbe at 6:00 AM as you travel through Uganda's scenic countryside towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, watch the landscape transform from bustling towns and farmland to rolling hills and vast open spaces. After arriving and settling in, you'll head out for an afternoon boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel.
As your boat gently navigates the water, you'll find yourself remarkably close to hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and elephants gathering along the shoreline. The channel is also a paradise for bird lovers, with countless species thriving along its banks. As the afternoon light softens, it creates the perfect setting for photography and wildlife viewing.
The Kazinga Channel is one of the most wildlife-rich waterways in Africa, connecting Lake George and Lake Edward and attracting animals from across the park throughout the year.

Day 2

Wake before sunrise for a game drive across the vast plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, when wildlife is at its most active. You may encounter elephants moving through the savannah, buffalo herds grazing in the morning light, and lions scanning the grasslands for prey. Every turn presents a new opportunity for discovery as your guide helps track the park's remarkable wildlife.
After the game drive and breakfast, continue south toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes you through some of Uganda's most beautiful scenery, including rolling hills, traditional villages, and lush highland landscapes. Arrive in Bwindi in the evening and settle into your lodge on the edge of the ancient rainforest.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is celebrated for its incredible biodiversity, hosting over 95 mammal species and more than 600 bird species within its diverse ecosystems.

Day 3

Today brings one of Africa's most extraordinary wildlife experiences. After an early briefing by park rangers, you'll venture into Bwindi's dense rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek may lead you through thick vegetation, forest clearings, and steep slopes, adding a sense of adventure to the experience.
Then comes the unforgettable moment when you encounter the gorillas. Watching a silverback command his family, observing playful young gorillas, and witnessing their remarkably human-like interactions creates memories that last a lifetime. You'll spend one magical hour with the gorillas before returning to the lodge to reflect on this once-in-a-lifetime encounter.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to nearly half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas, making it one of the most important conservation areas on the planet.

Day 4

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Entebbe through the picturesque landscapes of southwestern Uganda. Along the way, stop at the Equator Monument, one of Uganda's most famous landmarks, where you can stand in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres at the same time, take photographs, and browse local craft shops.
Continue your drive through vibrant towns and rural communities, reflecting on the incredible wildlife encounters and landscapes you've experienced over the past four days. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Ugandan safari.
The Equator crossing is one of the few places in the world where travelers can experience this unique geographical landmark and learn about its influence on climate and navigation.
