After breakfast, depart from Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport and drive to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2–3 hours).

Day 2
Tarangire – Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)
Tarangire – Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)
After early breakfast, depart for the Ndutu area in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, bordering the Southern Serengeti.
The drive is scenic as you pass through the Ngorongoro highlands.
Arrive in Ndutu in time for afternoon game drives.
During calving season, the plains are filled with thousands of wildebeest and zebra. You may witness:
Newborn calves taking their first steps
Predator hunts (especially cheetahs and lions)
Large hyena clans
Massive herds stretching to the horizon
Ndutu allows off-road driving (within designated areas), which increases your chances of getting closer to wildlife action.

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Ndutu plains.
An early morning game drive is highly recommended, as predators are most active at dawn.
This region offers:

Dramatic wildlife interactions
Excellent photography opportunities
Golden open plains landscapes
You can choose a full-day game drive with picnic lunch or split drives (morning & afternoon).
The calving season is one of the most exciting times of the year because predators follow the migration closely.
Return to camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Ndutu – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Ndutu – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After early breakfast, drive toward Ngorongoro Crater and descend 600 meters into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.
The Ngorongoro Crater offers one of the best chances to see:
Black rhino
Lions
Buffalo
Elephants
Hippos
Flamingos
Because wildlife remains in the crater year-round, game viewing is excellent.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool before ascending and driving back to Arusha in the late afternoon.
