Arrival in Arusha & Tarangire Game Drive – Overnight at Suricata Boma

Upon arrival in Arusha, you will meet your safari guide and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive with chances to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of birdlife. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the late afternoon, transfer to Suricata Boma for dinner and an overnight stay, relaxing after your first exciting day on safari.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

After breakfast at Suricata Boma, depart early for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a full-day game drive on the crater floor, home to the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—as well as zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and abundant birdlife around the soda lake. A picnic lunch will be served inside the crater. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater and transfer to Eileen’s Tree Inn in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Maasai Cultural Activities & Arusha Town Tour

After breakfast at Eileen’s Tree Inn in Karatu, depart for Mto wa Mbu to visit a Maasai village. Join in traditional activities, try the famous Maasai jumping dance, and learn about their culture and way of life. In the afternoon, return to Arusha for a brief town tour before heading to Outpost Lodge for dinner and overnight.
