1-Day Akagera National Park Game Drive from Kigali

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Wake up early in the morning and get prepared for a big day trip to Akagera National Park.
“05:00 AM” Departure from Kigali Pick-up from your hotel/ agreed destination in Kigali for the
approximately 2.5-hour drive to the park.
“07:30 AM Arrival & Registration “Arrive at the southern Gate, register, and pick up your pre
ordered picnic lunch and embark for animal tracking.
08:00 AM - 12:30 PM this is a time for the morning Game Drive, Begin the drive through the
southern and central sectors. This is a prime time to spot early risers such as zebras, giraffes,
impalas and waterbucks. The area around the lakes is excellent for seeing hippos and crocodiles.
12:30 PM - 01:30 PM time for picnic lunch and enjoy your packed lunch at a designated picnic
spot, such as the area near Lake Mihindi or Akagera Game Lodge, while taking in the views.
01:30 PM - 04:30 PM this time for the afternoon Game Drive (Northward).
