Leave the city behind for a scenic drive from Kigali to Rubavu (Gisenyi). You will stop at the
hotel and check-in, keep your belongings and drive to Nyamyumba Hot Springs, where you can
soak in mineral-rich "magical waters". These springs are renowned for their medicinal
properties, believed to soothe muscle tension and improve circulation—a perfect start to your
romantic retreat.
From there, drive back to the hotel for lunch, you can choose to take it at the lake shore, and
enjoying the different meals there like fresh fish etc
Evening: Sunset Serenity
Unwind on the soft sands of Rubavu Public Beach. As the sun dips below the horizon, enjoy a
peaceful walk or simply relax and watch the vibrant colors reflect off Lake Kivu, enjoy boat
riding and swimming at the beautiful lake Kivu.

On your return to Kigali, visit the Pfunda Tea Company, one of Rwanda's premier estates. Take a
guided tour through the lush, the tea plantations to learn the journey of "Rwandan gold"—from
the delicate picking of the top three leaves to the drying process. Conclude your visit with a
professional tea-tasting session overlooking the estate.
