Nairobi - Mara

You will be picked up from the hotel or airport and drive to Masai Mara, so named to mean the “spotted plains” in the Maa language. This is home to the greatest concentration of large mammals and is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is the northern extension to the vast Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual migration of wildebeest. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive until sunset in this spectacular place of breathtaking sceneries, never-ending plains and the most abundant variety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world. The landscape is made up of rolling savannahs dotted with patchy shrubs and bush thickets.

Masai Mara

After breakfast you will spend the rest of the days in game watching on morning and afternoon game drives. Wildlife is abundant in the Reserve with the gentle grasslands ensuring that animals are never out of sight. Birds are prolific including immigrants, 450 bird species have been recorded among them 57 birds of prey. Every year the Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle; The Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti. The big cats - lion, leopard, and cheetah - follow the wildebeest, essentially their main source of food, into the Mara. So, the Mara at this time is literally packed with wildlife, providing lucky visitors on safari with superb sightings of game.

Masai mara to serengeti

Atfter breakfast you will check out with lunch boxes and drive to isebaniia border. Upon arrival at the border you will do the formalities, meet your tanzania driver guide drive to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.
You will have an enroute gamedrive at teh park then check in at the lodge. Have dinner and relax

One full day in the Serengeti with a flexible schedule and unlimited mileage.

As you crest the hillside, spread out before you, as far as the eyes can see, is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti means "endless plains" in Kiswahili and this 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson's gazelles. Large predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey which migrates throughout the park. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax, bat-eared foxes, mongoose, honey badger, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares also inhabit the area along with nearly 500 species of birds.

After break fast on this day you will have breakfast check out with lunch boxes and have an enroute gamedrive to to ngorongoro where by you willl have the full day gamedrive and later on after teh gamedrive you will be dropped at the at the hotel. Check in have dinner and relax.
