Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by a Golden Trips Tanzania safari coordinator and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Here, you will have a safari briefing, check your camping equipment, and select preferred meals for the safari.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your Golden Trips Tanzania driver-guide will transfer you to Tarangire National Park (approximately 3 hours). Tarangire is famous for its elephant herds, giant baobab trees, and concentration of migratory wildlife at the Tarangire River. Spend the afternoon on a game drive, spotting wildebeest, zebras, elands, giraffes, and predators such as lions and leopards.

Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge or tented camp near the park.

Tarangire – Central Serengeti

After breakfast, depart Golden Trips Tanzania for the Central Serengeti. Enjoy scenic views and wildlife spotting along the route. Upon arrival, embark on your first Serengeti game drive, exploring the classic plains, kopjes, and acacia woodlands. Look out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and early migrating herds.
