Your safari begins with an early pick-up in Nairobi followed by a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, offering panoramic viewpoints and excellent photography opportunities. You will make a brief stop at Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake known for its abundant birdlife and resident hippos. Here, you may enjoy an optional boat ride at an extra cost, which allows close viewing of aquatic birds such as fish eagles, pelicans, and cormorants, while also observing hippos resting in the shallow waters. After this enriching stop, continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch and relaxation. Later, proceed for an afternoon game drive where you may encounter white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, and large flocks of flamingos lining the alkaline lake shores.
