Your safari adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha at your hotel or anywhere of your preference followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, a journey of approximately 2–3 hours through beautiful Tanzanian countryside. Upon arrival, you will begin your game drive in one of Tanzania’s most underrated wildlife gems, famous for its ancient baobab trees and impressive elephant population.
Tarangire offers incredible wildlife viewing, especially around the Tarangire River where animals gather to drink. Expect to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of bird species. After a picnic lunch inside the park, continue your afternoon game drive before heading to your budget campsite for dinner and overnight under the African sky.

This region is well known for year-round resident animals and frequent big cat sightings, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Dinner and overnight will be at your budget campsite in the heart of the park.

Today is dedicated to a full-day exploration of Central Serengeti. Early morning and late afternoon game drives provide the best chances to witness predators in action. You may see lions resting on rocky kopjes, leopards lounging in acacia trees, or cheetahs scanning the plains for prey.
The vast savannah is also home to elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Depending on the season, you might witness part of the Great Migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and continue your adventure until sunset before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Upon arrival, descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive in this wildlife-rich ecosystem.
The crater floor hosts an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, buffaloes, elephants, and hippos. After enjoying a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, ascend the crater walls and continue your scenic drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon with unforgettable safari memories. You will be dropped of at your accommodation or anywhere of your preference according to your travel plans.
