After the long flight, our driver will be waiting for you at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Your transfer from Kilimanjaro to Arusha will begin, and along the way you will observe the beautiful and amazing environment until you reach the city.
This will be a perfect time for relaxation and preparation for the next days of your safari. Summit Lodge is an excellent destination where you will have the opportunity to enjoy good meals, comfortable accommodation, and proper rest.

Day 2

Guide Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you set out on your first true safari experience, driving to Tarangire National Park. Here is the home of Large herds of elephants move calmly under the baobab trees, while zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes cross the plains. Nearby, waterbucks, baboons, dwarf mongooses, impalas, buffaloes, and antelopes go about their daily routines.
As you continue deeper into the park, your guide searches for predators resting in the shade. Lions, cheetahs, and leopards may appear unexpectedly, offering rare and memorable sightings. In the wetlands, colorful birds gather around the swamps, including giant kingfishers, while in the open grasslands, kori bustards and towering ostriches dominate the scenery.
In the late afternoon, as the sunlight softens and the day draws to a close, you leave the park and drive toward Hhando Coffee Lodge. There, surrounded by peaceful surroundings, you enjoy a warm dinner and reflect on the day’s experiences before settling in for a restful night.

After an early breakfast, you set off toward the world famous Serengeti National Park. For many travelers, this journey becomes one of the most memorable moments of their safari. As you drive deeper into the park, the landscape slowly opens up, revealing why the Serengeti is known in the local language as “endless plains.” Vast grasslands stretch as far as the eye can see, creating a powerful sense of space and scale.
This remarkable ecosystem is home to the Great Migration, with more than two million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and countless antelopes moving across the plains in search of fresh pasture. The Serengeti is also one of the best places to observe large predators. Lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas are often seen resting, hunting, or roaming freely, offering exceptional wildlife viewing throughout the day.

As the morning light gently spreads across the plains, you set out for another full day in Serengeti National Park. With each drive, you grow more connected to the land. Your guide follows tracks and signs, leading you to lions resting in the shade, cheetahs scanning the horizon, or leopards hidden quietly in the trees.
As the day goes on, you move through wide open spaces where elephants walk slowly in family groups and strong buffaloes gather near water. Along the rivers, hippos relax in the cool water, barely moving, while birds and other animals continue their daily routines around them. Every hour brings something new, something unexpected, making each moment feel special.
When the evening arrives, you slowly head back to Mbuni Tented Camp. After a warm dinner and quiet time under the stars, you rest peacefully, carrying the memories of the day and looking forward to what tomorrow will bring.

Day 5

After a refreshing breakfast, you begin your journey to one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater. Formed millions of years ago by a massive volcanic eruption, this unique landscape is enriched by fertile volcanic soil, creating a rich and balanced ecosystem. The crater supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and many other species.
One of the most special highlights of this area is the rare black rhinoceros. The crater serves as an important sanctuary for this endangered animal, and seeing it in its natural environment is a powerful and memorable experience that reflects the importance of wildlife conservation.
After your game drive, you will be transferred back to Arusha. Depending on your schedule and preferences, you may return to your hotel or continue to either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your onward journey.
