Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax after your journey or enjoy the hotel facilities as you prepare for your safari adventure. A short briefing will be provided to outline the program and highlight what to expect over the next few days. Dinner and overnight at Summit Hotel in Arusha.

Tarangire national park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River that attracts wildlife throughout the year. Enjoy a full-day game drive across diverse landscapes of open savannah, seasonal swamps, and riverine woodlands, where you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and numerous antelope species, along with a rich variety of birdlife. After a picnic lunch in the park and an afternoon game drive, proceed to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Tree Inn in a peaceful garden setting.

Ngorongoro and departure

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive on the crater floor, home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife including the Big Five -lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the endangered black rhino - as well as hippos, zebras, wildebeest, and flamingos along Lake Magadi. After a picnic lunch surrounded by breathtaking scenery, ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or transfer to the airport for your onward departure, marking the end of your memorable 3-day Tanzania safari adventure.
