Tarangire national park

After an early breakfast, you depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River. A full-day game drive reveals a remarkable variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a rich array of birdlife. During the dry season, animals congregate along the river, creating exceptional viewing opportunities. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing exploration in the afternoon. In the evening, you drive to Eileen’s Trees Inn, where you unwind with dinner and overnight surrounded by tranquil gardens.

Lake manyara national park and departure

Following breakfast, you head to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. This compact yet diverse park is famous for its lush groundwater forest, open savannah, soda lake filled with flamingos, and the elusive tree-climbing lions. Expect close encounters with elephants, hippos, baboons, and colorful birdlife set against the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment. After the safari, you begin your return journey, with a relaxed drive back to Arusha or onward to your departure point, marking the end of a memorable short safari adventure.
