Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation at Summit Lodge. The drive takes you through the scenic highlands of northern Tanzania, passing local villages and cultivated farmland. After check-in, you can relax at the lodge, enjoy the tranquil surroundings, and prepare for the safari adventure ahead. Dinner and overnight at Summit Lodge.

Tarangire national park

After breakfast, you depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. A full-day game drive explores the park’s riverine and savannah habitats, where you may encounter lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and a wide variety of birdlife. A picnic lunch is enjoyed inside the park before continuing the safari in the afternoon. In the evening, you drive to Eileen’s Trees Inn for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro crater and departure

After an early breakfast, you travel to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife areas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descending into the crater floor, you enjoy a game drive in a natural sanctuary that supports an incredible concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, you ascend and begin your return journey to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure, concluding your safari experience.
