Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, you depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descending into the crater floor, you enjoy an extensive game drive in a natural enclosure that supports an exceptional concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, you drive back toward Karatu for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn.

Lake eyasi national park and departure

Following an early breakfast, you travel to Lake Eyasi, a remote and culturally rich area located at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. Here, you have the opportunity to visit the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers and the Datoga pastoral community, gaining insight into traditional ways of life that have remained largely unchanged for centuries. The experience offers a rare cultural contrast to the wildlife-focused safari. After the visit, you begin your return journey to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure, marking the end of your safari.
