In the morning, your safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha. The journey follows a well-maintained tarmac road across the scenic Maasai plains, dotted with acacia trees. Along the way, you’ll see Maasai people in colorful traditional attire walking, cycling, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts.
Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant herds and diverse landscapes. From the open-roof safari vehicle, enjoy views of seasonal swamps, vast savannahs, and the Tarangire River. The park is home to zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, giraffes, and elephants, while lions and leopards can often be spotted during the game drive.
After exploring the park, you’ll head to a nearby campsite surrounded by trees and playful monkeys, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you’ll continue your journey through the beautiful highlands, passing farms where local communities grow coffee, wheat, and maize. As you drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the famous Ngorongoro Crater, created millions of years ago after a massive volcanic eruption.
The journey then continues to Serengeti National Park, arriving around midday. Known for its endless open plains, the Serengeti is home to a rich variety of landscapes, including grasslands, woodlands, rivers, and rocky outcrops. The park is also famous for the Great Migration, where huge herds of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains searching for fresh grazing.
After an exciting afternoon game drive, you’ll head to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the wilderness.

Day 3
Northern Serengeti National Park
Northern Serengeti National Park
Spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of Serengeti National Park on immersive game drives. The Serengeti is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos. It is most renowned for the spectacular Great Migration, where massive herds of zebras and wildebeests move across the plains in search of fresh grazing land.
The migration patterns are guided by seasonal rainfall and vary each year. Between November and December, the herds travel from the northern woodlands and hills to the southern grasslands. During the long rainy season, from April to June, they begin their journey back north. Along the way, you may also spot predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs closely following the herds.
After an unforgettable day of wildlife viewing, return to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, set out for another exciting game drive through the Serengeti. With a bit of luck, you may spot the iconic Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard before continuing your journey toward the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.
As the wildlife roams freely across the unfenced reserves, you will enjoy uninterrupted views and unforgettable encounters with nature in its purest form. Upon arriving at the crater’s rim, you will catch your first spectacular glimpse of the landscape awaiting you the next day shimmering streams, sweeping grasslands, and an abundance of wildlife spread across the crater floor.
In the evening, settle into your campsite perched on the edge of the crater. As the sun sets, the sky glows in warm shades of orange, creating a peaceful atmosphere for a memorable night under the African sky.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you will descend along the scenic track into the crater floor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.
Formed millions of years ago by a massive volcanic eruption, the Ngorongoro Crater is approximately 610 meters deep and covers an area of about 260 square kilometers. This extraordinary natural sanctuary is home to an estimated 25,000 animals, making it one of the best places in Tanzania for exceptional wildlife viewing.
As you explore the crater, you may encounter wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and more than 500 species of birds within a short time. With a bit of luck, you may even spot the rare and endangered black rhino peacefully grazing across the plains.
After lunch, you will ascend the crater walls and continue your journey back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
