The park is famous for its large elephant herds and rare species such as the greater kudu and fringed-eared oryx. Stop for a picnic lunch in the wild, then continue exploring until late afternoon. In the evening, transfer to Ngedere Budget Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today, descend more than 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a remarkable natural sanctuary teeming with wildlife. Thanks to its permanent water sources and rich grazing grounds, the crater supports an impressive concentration of animals year-round, including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and magnificent African elephants.
