Day 3
Northern Serengeti National Park
Northern Serengeti National Park
Spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of Serengeti National Park on immersive game drives. The Serengeti is rich in wildlife, home to impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos. It is most famous, however, for the extraordinary migration of zebras and wildebeests that move across the plains in search of fresh grazing.
This great movement is guided by rainfall patterns and changes slightly each year. In November and December, the herds usually travel from the northern woodlands and hills to the southern grassy plains. During the long rains from April to June, they make their way back north. Alongside the migrating herds, you may also encounter predators such as lions, cheetahs, and elusive leopards.
After a thrilling day of wildlife viewing, you will return to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay beneath the African sky.
