After breakfast, head to Tarangire, famous for giant baobab trees and huge elephant herds. Enjoy thrilling game drives where you may spot lions, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and colorful birds. The park is peaceful and wild, giving you a true African safari feeling.

Day 3

Journey to Serengeti National Park

Journey to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will begin your journey from Karatu to Serengeti National Park, a scenic drive of approximately 6 hours, including all stops along the way. This route passes through the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering breathtaking views and cultural insights. Arrive in the Serengeti in the late afternoon, just in time for a relaxing lunch before heading out for an exciting game drive in the Seronera area, the heart of the Serengeti ecosystem.

Famed for the Great Migration, the Serengeti hosts over 1.5 million wildebeests and 250,000 zebras, who travel together in search of greener pastures. Spend the late afternoon into early evening exploring the Serengeti plains, home to abundant wildlife including lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and many more. Conclude your day by witnessing a breathtaking sunset over the Serengeti, a perfect end to your first day in this iconic national park.

This will be your final day spent in the Serengeti, or the “endless plain” as it is called in Maa, the tongue of the local Maasai people. This is truly one of the most spectacular places on Earth. Continue to enjoy the wide range of animals and birds.

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives give you the best chance to see lions hunting, cheetahs running, elephants roaming, and huge herds of animals grazing. Your guide will track wildlife and share fascinating stories about nature.

By now you will be an expert! Our guide will make sure to take you to best locations for game viewing.
This evening, sip a cocktail and reflect on the majesty of Africa during a relaxing sundowner experience.

Day 5

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Highlands

After an early breakfast, set out for a morning game drive in the Seronera region of the Serengeti. This is one of the best times to spot wildlife as many animals are most active in the early hours of the day. Expect to see a variety of species from large predators like lions and cheetahs to herds of elephants, antelope, and possibly even the elusive leopard. Afterward, begin a final game drive as you make your way toward the Serengeti gate, enjoying more wildlife sightings along the way.

You will then depart the Serengeti and drive to Masek Tented Lodge.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Town

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Town

You will do a transfer game drive from Masek tented lodge to the Crater. A 2 hours After a hearty breakfast, you will drive down the adventurous track into the crater. This UNESCO world heritage site, formed millions of years ago, is 610m deep and covers roughly 260 square kilometres. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25,000, the crater offers the best game viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. In a matter of minutes, you will be able to see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and some of the more than 500 bird species native to the area. With a little bit of luck, you might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass.

After enjoying a picnic lunch in the crater, we’ll continue with a final game drive, soaking in the rich diversity of wildlife and the dramatic scenery. In the early afternoon, we will ascend the crater wall and begin preparations for the return journey.
After an extensive game drive, you will head back to Arusha.
