Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading north through Kenya’s central highlands and dramatic semi-arid landscapes. Arrive in Samburu in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, discovering the unique wildlife of the region, including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. The Ewaso Nyiro River attracts a wide variety of animals, especially elephants and big cats. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, depart Samburu and travel south toward the Laikipia region. Arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy around lunchtime. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in this renowned conservation area, home to the Big Five and the largest population of black rhinos in East Africa. You may also visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, a unique highlight of Ol Pejeta. Dinner and overnight are spent within the conservancy.

Following breakfast, depart Ol Pejeta and drive through scenic countryside into the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive around the lake, famous for its flamingos, pelicans, and diverse birdlife. The park is also an important sanctuary for both black and white rhinos, as well as Rothschild’s giraffe. Evening at leisure, dinner, and overnight near the park.
