Day 1

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley escarpment with a scenic stop at the viewpoint for photos.

Arrive in Naivasha before lunchtime and check in to your lodge near the lake. After lunch and some relaxation, head out for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Glide across calm waters as you spot hippos resting in the lake and fish eagles soaring above. The lake is surrounded by lush greenery and offers stunning views of Crescent Island and Mount Longonot in the distance.

You may also enjoy a guided walking safari on Crescent Island (optional), where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes in a safe, open environment.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Naivasha.

Day 2

After breakfast, depart for Nakuru, arriving in time for a mid-morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.

Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingos (seasonal) and large populations of rhinos. During your game drive, expect to see both black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and possibly lions or leopards. The park also offers scenic viewpoints overlooking the alkaline lake surrounded by acacia woodland.

After a picnic lunch inside the park or at your lodge, continue with an afternoon game drive to explore more wildlife and landscapes.

Day 3

Nakuru – Maasai Mara

After breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Maasai Mara. The drive takes you through scenic countryside and traditional Maasai lands.

Arrive at your lodge or luxury tented camp in time for lunch. After some relaxation, head out for your first afternoon game drive in the Maasai Mara.

The reserve is known for its vast savannah plains and incredible concentration of wildlife. You may spot elephants, giraffes, large herds of wildebeests and zebras, and if lucky, the famous big cats — lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

This day is fully dedicated to exploring the Maasai Mara. After an early breakfast, depart with a packed picnic lunch for a full-day game drive.

Search for the Big Five — lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino — as well as countless other species. If traveling during migration season, you may witness thousands of wildebeests crossing the plains or dramatic river crossings at the Mara River.

Optional activities include:

Hot air balloon safari at sunrise (extra cost)

Cultural visit to a Maasai village

Enjoy your picnic lunch in the wild before continuing your exploration. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and your second overnight stay in the Maasai Mara.
