You will be collected from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight to Kigoma.
Upon arrival, you will be driven to Ujiji Village to visit the historic Dr. Livingstone Memorial. Thereafter, you will proceed to Kibirizi Port to board your boat to Gombe National Park.
On arrival at the park, you will be escorted to the rest house for a hot lunch before setting out on your chimpanzee trekking experience through the rolling hills and lush forests of western Tanzania. After the trek, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Bird watch and waterfalls

On this day, you will begin a guided bird watching excursion in Gombe Stream National Park. The park is home to a variety of colorful bird species, making it a wonderful destination for nature and bird lovers. As you walk through the forest trails, you will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, fresh air, and beautiful natural scenery while listening to the sounds of birds and wildlife around you.
During the excursion, your guide will help you identify different bird species and explain more about the unique ecosystem of the park. You may also encounter monkeys and other small wildlife along the trails, adding more excitement to the experience.
Later in the day, you will continue with a visit to the beautiful waterfalls located inside the forest. The walk to the waterfalls offers a refreshing adventure through lush vegetation and scenic landscapes.
After the excursion, you will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation while enjoying the natural beauty of Lake Tanganyika.

Drive to Kigoma Town

On the third day, start your morning with a delicious breakfast at the lodge and spend the rest of the day relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. You may choose to unwind around the lodge, enjoy the beautiful natural environment, or simply take time to rest before your journey back.
In the late afternoon, you will pack your belongings and board a boat transfer back to Kigoma. As you travel across the waters, enjoy the scenic views and the calm atmosphere along the way. Upon arrival in Kigoma Town, our team will transfer you to your hotel where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night in comfort.

Kigoma to Dar Es Salaam

After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight back to Dar Es Salaam.
