Pick up from JKIA proceed to Maasai Mara National Reserve

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will be met by your professional safari driver-guide for a short briefing before departing for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at a panoramic viewpoint for photos.

Continue via Narok town to arrive at your camp in time for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, head out for your first exciting game drive across the vast savannah plains of the Mara. The reserve is renowned for its rich concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and a variety of antelope species. With luck, you may also spot leopards or cheetahs.

After enjoying the African sunset in the wild, return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Full day Maasai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast at camp, depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day game drive in the vast plains of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Spend the day exploring different sections of the reserve, including the famous Mara River area, known for dramatic wildlife encounters and, during migration season, spectacular river crossings.

The Maasai Mara is home to an abundance of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and numerous antelope species. With luck, you may also spot leopards and cheetahs. Your experienced driver-guide will help you track animals and share insights about their behavior and the ecosystem.

Enjoy your picnic lunch in a designated area within the reserve before continuing with afternoon game viewing. Return to camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

An early morning hot air balloon safari over the Mara (optional for an extra cost) can be arranged, offering breathtaking aerial views of the wildlife and landscape.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast, check out and depart the Maasai Mara National Reserve for Lake Nakuru. Enjoy a scenic drive through Narok town and the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Rift Valley as you head towards Lake Nakuru National Park.

Arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch at your budget hotel followed by a short rest. In the afternoon, proceed for a game drive inside Lake Nakuru National Park, well known for its thriving populations of black and white rhinos. The park also hosts Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and a variety of antelope species. The alkaline lake attracts flamingos and numerous other bird species, making it a haven for bird lovers.

After the afternoon game drive, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
