Unlike many one day gorilla tours that start from Kabale, Mbarara or Kisoro, this tour is designed to depart from Kigali early morning giving you a complete day trip to the gorillas taking you to the wonderfully green impenetrable forests of Bwindi in South Western Uganda. We depart KIgali for Bwindi early morning at 4am as we drive through the breathtaking mountain scenery leading into the jungles of Uganda where you can meet the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural home.

Upon reaching Bwindi, you will embark on a hike in the forest in search of the mountain gorillas. Join other hikers who are to experience the most exciting adventure in the tropical rain forest.

Depending on the movement of the gorillas, you will come across a habituated gorilla family and enjoy the company of these great apes. You have up to one hour to watch these great apes.

After the gorilla trek, return to the park headquarters. Have lunch. Embark on a return trip to Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.
