Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your safari representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha.

After check-in, the remainder of the day is free to relax and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy the lodge surroundings, take a short walk, and have a safari briefing with your guide.

Arusha to Tarangire

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive towards Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant populations, impressive baobab trees and diverse wildlife. Tarangire is an important part of Tanzania's Northern safari circuit.

Enjoy a full-day game drive with your picnic lunch in the park. You may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, antelope and numerous bird species.

In the afternoon, continue toward Karatu and check in at your lodge for an overnight stay and relaxation.

Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)

After an early breakfast, depart towards the Ndutu area, travelling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The day is dedicated to exploring the Ndutu ecosystem and searching for the great migration herds. July is a transition period in the migration cycle, and conditions can vary from year to year, so wildlife movements cannot be guaranteed. For July migration trips, operators commonly target the Serengeti's northern areas as the herds move northward.

Enjoy game viewing throughout the day, with opportunities to see wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, predators and other wildlife.

Full Day in Ndutu - Transfer to Karatu for Overnight Stay

Wake early for a morning game drive when wildlife is generally active. Continue exploring the Ndutu area, following wildlife activity and looking for predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas.

After a picnic lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive before leaving the Ndutu area and returning toward Karatu.

Ngorongoro - Arusha

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a crater game drive.

Descend into the crater for several hours of wildlife viewing. The crater offers a concentrated wildlife experience, with opportunities to see buffalo, elephants, lions, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest and other species. The Tanzania Tourist Board identifies Ngorongoro as one of the country's signature Northern circuit destinations.

Enjoy a picnic lunch before beginning the drive back to Arusha.

Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon/early evening, marking the end of your safari.
