After breakfast, depart Samburu and journey south toward the lush highlands of Laikipia County, arriving at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in time for lunch. Ol Pejeta is renowned for its pioneering conservation efforts and as a sanctuary for endangered species. In the afternoon, embark on an extensive game drive across its rolling plains, home to large herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and predators such as lions and cheetahs. A highlight of your visit is the chance to see the last two remaining northern white rhinos, protected under 24-hour surveillance. Following breakfast, check out and proceed toward the Great Rift Valley, descending into one of Kenya’s most scenic regions. You will arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch at your lodge. The park is also a rhino sanctuary, offering close encounters with both black and white rhinos.
