The conservancy protects endangered Rothschild giraffes, plains game such as zebra and gazelle, and seasonal flamingo populations along the alkaline lake shores.

As the journey continues southward, the landscape gradually transforms. The road climbs gently toward the cooler highlands around Molo, where rolling hills, wheat fields, and dairy farms dominate the scenery. The surrounding reserve is also home to greater kudu, warthogs, zebras, and a variety of bird species. Afternoon exploration of the geysers and lakeshore.

After an early breakfast, depart for Maasai Mara (approx. 5–6 hours). The journey from Lake Bogoria to Maasai Mara offers a diverse cross-section of Kenya’s landscapes and rural life. Arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive.

Today is dedicated to a complete immersion in the extraordinary wildlife of the Maasai Mara National Reserve — one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations.
The day begins at sunrise, when wildlife activity is at its peak. As the golden light spreads across the savannah, predators such as lions and cheetahs are often still active from their night hunts. This is the ideal time for photography and witnessing authentic predator-prey interactions.
After the early game drive, you will return to camp for breakfast and some rest as you wait for the afternoon game drive. Alternatively you can carry packed lunch and head out for an extended game drive and enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site.
