3-Day Tsavo East Safari Escape from Watamu/Malindi

Malindi/ Watamu - Tsavo East

Pick up from your hotel in Malindi or Watamu early in the morning and drive towards Tsavo East, passing through the scenic Galana region with its stunning landscapes. Arrive at Tsavo East around mid-morning via the Salas Gate, where you begin a highlight game drive. Around 1:00 PM, exit the park to check in at your lodge or hotel just outside Voi Gate. After lunch, set out for an afternoon game drive and enjoy wildlife spotting until evening.

Full day in Tsavo East

Rise early at 6:00 AM for a quick breakfast before entering the park for a full morning of game drives. Explore the vast Taru region, home to one of Kenya’s largest elephant populations and prime locations for observing wildlife. In the afternoon, you can choose to explore Mundanda, climbing its striking features while spotting more wildlife along the way. Return to your lodge in the evening.
