Day 1

After a morning briefing, you will set off for the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. En route, journey through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, pausing at a scenic viewpoint to capture memorable photos.

Continue via Narok town and arrive at your camp in time for lunch and some relaxation. Later in the afternoon, embark on your first thrilling game drive across the Mara’s expansive savannah plains. The reserve is celebrated for its abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and numerous antelope species, with chances of spotting elusive leopards or swift cheetahs.

Check out and depart the Maasai Mara National Reserve for Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoying a scenic drive via Narok town and the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley along the way. Arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch at your budget hotel, followed by a short rest before your afternoon activities.

Later, head into Lake Nakuru National Park for an exciting game drive, where the park’s renowned populations of black and white rhinos are a major highlight. You may also encounter Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and several antelope species, while the alkaline lake draws flamingos and a rich variety of birdlife, making the park a paradise for bird enthusiasts.
