Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

Pick up from your hotel or the airport and drive north through Kenya’s scenic highlands, enjoying views of coffee farms, Mount Kenya landscapes, and the changing terrain as you head into the semi-arid north. Arrive in time for lunch at Simba Lodge Samburu. After some relaxation, head out for an afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve, home to unique northern species and large elephant herds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Game Drive

Start the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. After breakfast, continue exploring the reserve on extended game drives along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Look out for Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, lions, leopards, and crocodiles.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.
