Transfer by road from Nairobi to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This is where it all begins, where you join us on the first step of our journey together. You'll meet your friendly expert guide, and we'll quickly get the formalities out of the way so we can get out there and start enjoying the safari you've been dreaming of.

One of our favorite places to look for wildlife in Kenya is the Masai Mara National Reserve. That's because the wildlife here is incredible, with big cats (lions, leopards, and cheetahs) and elephants among the highlights, not to mention black rhinos in the Mara Triangle. There's a very good chance you'll also see giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and, of course, impalas. Bring your binoculars, because more than 500 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve. It's also a place of relaxation, with beautiful savannah landscapes and many acacia trees.
