The safari begins with a morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. You will travel south through the fertile Kikuyu highlands before descending the spectacular Great Rift Valley escarpment. After a brief stop at the viewpoint for photography, you continue through the semi-arid lands of Narok to reach the Masai Mara by lunchtime.
After checking in at Rhino Tourist Camp and enjoying a hot lunch, you will embark on your first late-afternoon game drive. This is the "golden hour" when predators like lions and cheetahs begin their evening hunt.

Day 2

This day is dedicated to a comprehensive exploration of the reserve. With a packed picnic lunch, you will head deep into the savanna toward the Mara River, the natural border between Kenya and Tanzania.[8] This area is home to massive Nile crocodiles and pods of hippos. Between July and October, this is the stage for the dramatic Great Migration crossings.
You will spend the day tracking the "Big Five"—Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, and the rare Black Rhino. The open plains also offer sightings of giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. In the evening, return to camp for a buffet dinner and stories around the campfire.

Departure
After breakfast at the camp, you will check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi. You will arrive in the capital by late afternoon (approx. 4:00 PM) for your onward flight or hotel drop-off.
