Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from Johannesburg or Pretoria, followed by a comfortable private transfer to Madikwe Game Reserve. After the scenic 4.5-hour journey, you’ll arrive at Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge late morning and settle into your luxury suite. Take time to relax and freshen up before enjoying a delicious lunch at the lodge.

In the afternoon, head out in an open safari vehicle with your professional ranger for an exciting game drive that continues into sunset and night. As the bush transforms after dark, you’ll search for nocturnal wildlife before returning to the lodge for a memorable dinner under the stars in the boma or in the cosy dining room. End the day with a peaceful overnight stay in your suite.

Sunrise Safari & Departure

Start your morning with freshly brewed coffee or tea before heading out on a memorable 3-hour sunrise game drive in Madikwe Game Reserve. After your safari adventure, return to Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge for a hearty breakfast. You’ll then have time to pack up and prepare for departure before your mid-morning private transfer back to Johannesburg or Pretoria. Arrival at your accommodation is expected at approximately 17h00.
