Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or pickup from Arusha, you will drive directly to Tarangire National Park to begin your safari adventure. Known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers a spectacular introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. Enjoy a scenic game drive along the Tarangire River, where animals gather to drink, especially during the dry season. You may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and a wide variety of bird species. The park’s peaceful atmosphere and diverse landscapes provide excellent photography opportunities. In the late afternoon, continue with wildlife viewing before heading to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Journey through the scenic highlands into the world-famous Serengeti. Afternoon game drive across the vast plains, home to lions, cheetahs, elephants, and (seasonally) the Great Migration.
As you travel through the Ngorongoro Highlands, enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills and traditional Maasai villages before descending into the endless savannah of the Serengeti. The landscape opens dramatically into golden grasslands stretching as far as the eye can see. Upon arrival, begin your afternoon game drive tracking predators such as lions resting under acacia trees and cheetahs scanning the plains for prey. Depending on the season, you may witness the dramatic Great Migration, as thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the plains in search of fresh grazing. Break for a scenic picnic lunch in the bush surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife. As the sun sets, enjoy the golden hues stretching across the savannah. After breakfast in Serengeti National Park, depart with a scenic game drive en route toward the Ngorongoro highlands. Drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive in one of Tanzania’s most scenic and diverse parks. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is famous for its rare tree-climbing lions often seen resting on acacia branches. Large herds of elephants roam through the lush groundwater forests, while troops of baboons and blue monkeys move actively through the trees. The alkaline lake attracts thousands of flamingos and other waterbirds, creating a colorful spectacle along the shoreline. As the perfect end to your safari adventure, visit Materuni Village near the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. This charming village offers a wonderful cultural and nature experience away from the savannah plains. Enjoy a guided hike through lush greenery and banana plantations to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls, where crystal-clear water cascades down from the mountain, creating a refreshing and scenic atmosphere. Along the way, learn about local plants and traditional village life from your guide. Spend time with the Chagga community, discovering their customs, history, and daily activities. Take part in a traditional coffee-making experience, from roasting and grinding the beans to preparing and tasting a fresh cup the local way.
