Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to Arusha town. Depending on your arrival time and energy level, you will enjoy a short guided city tour to experience the local atmosphere. The tour may include visits to the local market, cultural heritage center, Maasai curio shops, or a brief walk through the town to see everyday Tanzanian life. This is a great opportunity to exchange currency, buy last-minute safari items, and get a first impression of the country.
