3-Day Tsavo East Escape from Diani Beach

Transfer to Tsavo West

You will be picked up from your hotel in Diani early in the morning and drive north via dongo Kundu Road, joining the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway. After about four hours, you will enter Tsavo West National Park through Tsavo Gate and enjoy an en-route game drive to Lake Jipe Safari Camp for check-in and early lunch. In the afternoon, explore the park’s volcanic scenery, including Mzima Springs, the dramatic Shetani Lava Flow, Chaimu Volcano and optional visits to Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Tsavo west and Tsavo East

After an early morning game drive and breakfast in Tsavo West, you will transfer to Tsavo East National Park, arriving around mid-morning. Check in at Voi Wildlife Lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enter Tsavo East via Voi Gate and proceed for an extensive game drive across the open plains. Expect sightings of elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, and various antelope species before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo east morning game drive and transfer to Diani

Wake up early for a morning game drive in Tsavo East National Park, exploring the park’s stunning landscapes and spotting wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, and a variety of antelope species. After your game drive, return to Voi Wildlife Lodge for a late breakfast. Around mid-morning, check out and begin your journey back to Mombasa/Diani. You will be dropped off at the same hotel where you were originally picked up, concluding your safari adventure.
