Drive to Serengeti National park
After an early breakfast, we will depart for the Serengeti National Park, enjoying game viewing along the way. The Serengeti is undoubtedly one of the world’s most famous wildlife sanctuaries, celebrated for its breathtaking landscapes and unparalleled ecological significance. It hosts the highest concentration of plains game in Africa, offering endless opportunities to witness nature at its most vibrant.
The park is perhaps best known for the legendary Great Wildebeest Migration. Over a million wildebeest, accompanied by around 200,000 zebras, move from the northern hills to the southern plains during the short rains of October and November, and then return west and north after the long rains in April, May, and June. This ancient migratory instinct is so powerful that no drought, gorge, or crocodile-infested river can stop them.
Beyond the migration, the Serengeti teems with wildlife, from lions and elephants to giraffes and cheetahs, set against sweeping plains.
