Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

Pick up and transfer to Nyungwe National Park via Karongi. On arrival there, proceed with boat ride in Lake Kivu and hike on the Napoleon Island. Lunch in Karongi and proceed to Nyungwe National Park. Dinner and overnight at Ken Barham Guest House and get prepared to start your chimpanzee trekking early morning on the next day.

Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer back to Kigali

Wake up at 04:20 am for an early breakfast and head to the park office for a briefing at 04:50 am and meet your park guide at 5:00 AM and depart for the starting point of your chimpanzee trek in Nyungwe. Return back and proceed back to Kigali. Lunch at the park café and you will depart to your hotel in Kigali, end of the tour.

Note: that chimpanzee trekking can be challenging and we advise our guest to be prepared by making some physical exercises to prepare. Make payment by cash or bank with no extra fee or by card with 3.5% card processing fee extra.
