Pick up from your hotel early morning and depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive to Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and oldest national parks. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by an afternoon game drive. Tsavo East is famous for its “red elephants,” colored by the park’s rich red soil, as well as the scenic Aruba Dam where wildlife gathers to drink. During your game drive, you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and a variety of birdlife across the vast semi-arid plains. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive en route as you exit Tsavo East and proceed to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch and some relaxation before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of elephants and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. The open plains and swampy wetlands provide excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and abundant birdlife. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive via Nairobi towards Lake Nakuru National Park, stopping briefly at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for scenic photography. Arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in this compact yet wildlife-rich park. Lake Nakuru is famous for its populations of both black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and flocks of flamingos that often line the lake shores. The park also offers chances to see lions and elusive leopards in its acacia woodlands. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.

After breakfast, drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Mara’s vast golden savannahs, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife. The reserve is known for excellent Big Five sightings — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — as well as cheetahs and large herds of antelope. Full Game Drive in Masai Mara NP
Full Game Drive in Masai Mara NP
Spend a full day exploring Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day excursion with picnic lunch near the Mara River. The reserve offers outstanding wildlife viewing year-round, and between July and October, you may witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration with possible river crossings. Throughout the day, enjoy close encounters with predators such as lions and cheetahs, as well as elephants roaming the plains. Optional activities include a sunrise hot air balloon safari or a cultural visit to a Maasai village (at extra cost). Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.

Arrive in the afternoon with drop-off at your hotel, marking the end of a diverse safari experience featuring Tsavo’s red elephants, Amboseli’s Kilimanjaro views, Nakuru’s rhinos, and the legendary wildlife plains of the Maasai Mara.
