Transfer from Entebbe to Bwindi National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Entebbe. Meet your professional driver-guide and begin the scenic journey to southwestern Uganda (about 8–9 hours).

Along the way, you will stop at the Equator for photos and a short experiment, then continue through rolling hills, local towns, and green countryside. Lunch will be enjoyed en route.

Arrive at your lodge near Bwindi in the evening. Check in, relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the next day’s once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing from the rangers. You will be assigned a gorilla family and guided into the forest.

The trek can take between 1–6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Walking through the thick rainforest is an adventure itself. When you finally meet the gorilla family, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them — watching the silver back, mothers with babies, and playful juveniles in their natural habitat. It is emotional, powerful, and truly life-changing.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and freshen up. Later, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi (about 2–3 hours), driving through beautiful terraced hills.

Arrive in the evening and relax at your lakeside lodge. Enjoy the cool breeze, peaceful atmosphere, and stunning sunset views over the islands.

Dinner and overnight by the lake.

Morning Canoe Experience – Transfer to Kampala

Wake up to beautiful views of Lake Bunyonyi and enjoy breakfast at the lodge.

After breakfast, go for a guided canoe boat experience on the lake. Paddle between the small islands, learn about their history and local communities, and enjoy the calm waters surrounded by green hills.

Later, check out and begin your scenic drive back to Kampala. Lunch will be enjoyed along the way. Arrival in the evening for drop-off at your hotel or residence.
