Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. You will travel westwards through Uganda’s scenic countryside, characterized by rolling hills, tea plantations, and vibrant local communities.
The drive to Kibale Forest National Park takes approximately 5–6 hours and offers a pleasant introduction to Uganda’s natural beauty.
Upon arrival in the afternoon, you will check in at your lodge and have time to relax and settle in. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge, surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the forest.

Day 2
Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary
Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary
After breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your chimpanzee trekking experience.
Accompanied by professional guides, you will walk through the dense tropical forest in search of habituated chimpanzee families. Once located, you will spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat, an engaging and intimate wildlife encounter.
You will return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-managed conservation area rich in biodiversity. The guided walk offers opportunities to observe various bird species, primates, and unique wetland vegetation, while also providing insight into local conservation efforts. After the activity, you return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Following breakfast, you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, a journey of approximately 3–4 hours. Along the way, you will enjoy scenic views of crater lakes and rolling hills.
In the afternoon, you will embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, one of the highlights of the park. This experience offers excellent wildlife viewing, including elephants, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species along the shoreline.
You return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Game Drive & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will start the day with an early morning game drive in the Ishasha plains, a prime area for wildlife viewing. Expect to encounter elephants, buffalo, tree-climbing lions, Uganda kobs, and other species while they are most active.
After the game drive, you will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Rushaga sector), a journey of approximately 3–4 hours through scenic highlands and local communities.
Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure, preparing for the next day’s gorilla trekking experience.

Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Kisoro

Following an early breakfast, you transfer to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing before entering the forest for gorilla trekking. The trek can last 1–6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family, with terrain that is sometimes steep and challenging.
Once the gorillas are located, spend one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural environment. Witness their social interactions, playful behaviors, and close-knit family bonds—a moment that is both humbling and awe-inspiring.
After the trek, you'll return to the lodge for lunch before beginning your transfer to Kisoro. You enjoy the scenic drive as the landscape transitions to the rolling hills surrounding Mgahinga.

After breakfast, you'll enjoy a peaceful morning canoe boat experience on Lake Bunyonyi. You paddle through calm waters, explore small islands, and admire the stunning landscapes that surround this hidden gem of southwestern Uganda.
After your morning on the lake, you begin your journey back to Entebbe. You stop along the way for lunch and short breaks, taking in the scenic countryside one last time before arriving in the late afternoon or evening. Drop-off at your hotel or Entebbe airport marks the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
