Day 1

Tarangire National Park – Land of Giants & Baobas

You will be picked up from your accommodation in Arusha to begin your 4-day safari adventure. From there, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and majestic ancient baobab trees. The park’s diverse landscapes are home to lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and many other wildlife species.

Enjoy an exciting game drive across the savannah, where you may also spot tree-climbing pythons and over 500 bird species. Stop for a picnic lunch inside the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild, before continuing your afternoon wildlife viewing.

Later in the day, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast at the campsite in Mto wa Mbu, you’ll begin your journey to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater—one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife habitats. Along the way, there’s a chance to spot wildlife and admire the changing landscapes.

Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains. This is prime territory for viewing the Big Five, cheetahs, hyenas, and massive herds of wildebeest and zebras. If you’re traveling during the Great Migration, you might witness thousands of animals moving in search of greener pastures—an awe-inspiring natural event.

As evening approaches, you’ll head to a lodge in the heart of the Serengeti. Relax with dinner under the stars and fall asleep to the distant sounds of lions and hyenas echoing through the night.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro - Journey Through Stunning Landscapes

After breakfast, set out for a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, exploring more of its endless plains and abundant wildlife. After the drive, proceed toward the park gate and enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch before continuing your journey.

In the afternoon, travel toward the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands, where the scenery gradually changes from open savannah to rolling green hills. Wildlife sightings are still possible along the way, making the transfer part of the adventure.

By late afternoon, arrive at your campsite on the rim of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. From this unique vantage point, take in breathtaking panoramic views of the crater floor below, one of Africa’s most iconic natural wonders.

Enjoy dinner at the campsite and unwind beneath the African night sky before settling in for a restful overnight stay.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, you’ll descend to the Ngorongoro Crater, home to the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera.

Descending 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, you’ll enter a unique ecosystem teeming with wildlife. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the best places to spot the rare black rhinos, alongside lions, leopards, elephants, and hippos. The crater’s lakes and swamps also attract large flocks of flamingos, geese, storks, and other bird species.

Lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic picnic site by Ngoitoktok Swamp, where hippos wallow in the water. After an unforgettable day in the crater, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha and will be dropped off at your accommodation in Arusha or at the airport.

Accommodation after the tour can be arranged upon request for an additional cost. Transfers to Kilimanjaro Airport is available. You can extend your adventure with a Zanzibar beach holiday for the perfect end to your trip.
