Fly from Addis Ababa to Goba and meet our representative upon arrival. Drive to Dinsho, the gateway to the Bale Mountains. In the afternoon, hike through highland meadows and misty forests, spotting wildlife such as mountain nyala, Menelik’s bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, and warthogs. Sanetti Plateau & Ethiopian Wolf Sightings

After breakfast, ascend to Sanetti Plateau, home to the rare Ethiopian wolf. Watch these elegant predators hunting across the plateau at sunrise. Along the way, spot unique rodents like the giant molerat. Stop at Tulu Dimtu, the highest peak in the park (4,377m), and enjoy panoramic views. Visit Rira village for a cultural stop or a short forest walk, then explore bamboo forests and waterfalls, keeping an eye out for Bale monkeys and black-and-white colobus monkeys.
